MS Creative Events LLC ("we", "us", "MS Creative Events") operates https://www.mscreativeevents.com. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you use this website or book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to quote, plan and deliver your event:
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and, if you give it to us, your mailing address.
- Event details — your event date, venue address, guest count, theme, color palette, inspiration links, and the rentals or services you're interested in.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe passes us only a confirmation that a payment succeeded and, for our records, the last four digits and card type.
- Basic, anonymous page counts — which pages on our site are visited and roughly how often, so we know which content is useful. This counter does not use cookies and does not identify you personally; it is just a running tally of page and day.
How we use it
We use your information to prepare and send quotes, confirm and schedule bookings, coordinate delivery and setup, process payments, answer questions, and — only if you opt in on our newsletter form — send occasional emails about seasonal ideas and availability. We do not use your information for anything else, and we never use it to make automated decisions that affect you.
We never sell your information
We have never sold, rented or traded customer information to another company, and we never will. We are a small, local, family-run studio — your data stays with us and the vendors who help us run the business (see below).
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us operate: Stripe (payments), our email provider (sending quotes and receipts), and, if you ask us to coordinate with them, your venue or other vendors for your event. Each of these providers is bound by its own privacy and security obligations. We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
Cookies we use
This site uses exactly three cookies, all first-party and all functional — no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies:
msc_cart— remembers the rental items you've added to your quote list as you browse, so it survives you moving between pages. Stored in your browser for up to 14 days.msc_csrf— a random security token that confirms a form submission actually came from our site, protecting you from cross-site forgery attacks.msc_session— used only when our staff log in to the owner dashboard; it is never set for regular visitors browsing the public site.
How long we keep information
We keep booking and payment records for as long as required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes (typically several years), and we keep a customer's contact details on file so returning clients don't have to start from scratch. If you ask us to delete your information and you have no open or recent bookings, we will do so.
Your choices & how to request deletion
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email mscreativebiz@gmail.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line, or call (760) 415-1069, and we will respond within a reasonable time (usually a few business days). You can also unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — which we don't do, and never have. Exercising these rights is free and will never result in different pricing or service from us. Contact us using the details above to make a request.
Security
We use standard security practices — encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed and rate-limited login sessions, and a PCI-compliant payment processor — to protect the information you share with us. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. We won't make material changes that reduce your rights without giving you notice.
